Between 0500 and 0700 hours on 21st January 2021 we will be performing changes to our core network to help minimise downtime during incidents like we saw with VPS transit earlier this week. As always, we aim to keep downtime to a minimum but a small interruption is expected as traffic re-routes to the new design. We will update this status page as soon as the work has been completed and we ask that customers consider services "At Risk" for the duration of this maintenance window. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this work. Completed: The maintenance has been successfully completed.
Virtual servers across several hosts are currently inaccessible. Our System Administration team are looking into this now and will provide an update imminently. Update - Our System Administration team are aware of an issue with an upstream provider. We're getting this looked into and will provide a further update as soon as possible. Update - All hosts should now be fully accessible. We're continuing to investigate with the upstream provider the cause of the connection outage. We'll provide a full update via this page shortly. Update - The problem with the upstream provider has been identified as a fault on their fibre circuits - The provider engaged field engineers who were able to identify and repair the fibre. Traffic remains re-routed and we will monitor their sessions - only once the provider has been stable for 24 hours will we move traffic back. We apologise for any inconvenience this caused and although this particular incident was outside of our control we will review potential changes to our systems and network to help reduce the impact of any recurrence.
We're currently investigating a problem with regards to control panel access which is affecting some users. Our Systems Administration team are working on this and will provide an update shortly. Update: Control panel access should now be fully restored - Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. We've put into place mitigating factors to ensure this doesn't happen again.
